  1. This product is fiaatstnc. I’ve tried many diets and weight loss products but none of them worked as per my expectation. My friend recommended this product because he lost quite a few pounds with it, so even I bought one bottle & results after 1 month were amazing. I actually lost weight more than I expected.   2. Im 16 yrs old amd currently weigh 160 pounds. I work out at the gym 4 days a week. I want to try these pills. Would it be harmful for me in any way? Would they be effective for me?

      you have to consult your doctor before taking Garcinia, I think it is NOT recommended for persons under the age of 18.

  4. I have been taking it for 2 weeks now without any weight loss and am frustrated. I weigh 235 and have been taking 2 capsules/day before meals. I don’t eat hardly anything at all mostly 1 real meal/day and a couple snacks. I also drink a couple alcoholic beverages daily. Cold this be my downfall? Should I increase my dose? I also drink plenty of water.

    • Debbie, it might be the alcohol especially if you are not doing any exercise at all. I will be writing about alcohol soon too, however until then, maybe the best thing to do would be to consult your doctor.
      And yes, drinking plenty of water is always good, and super important.

    • you need to EAT to lose weight…many people are under the misconception that eating nothing will make them lose weight..this is false…i also have this problem…cut the alcohol out of your daily diet and eat real food…youre wasting calories on beverages that have zero nutritional value to you…

    You might want to also consider eating AT least 1000 calories PER day, as to not make your metabolism shut down. If you do not eat Enough…your body will think you are in starvation/survival mode. You must give the herb something to work WITH. It cannot help your metabolism if it is shut down! Also, it cannot work on breaking down foods properly if you do NOT eat. I have been in the health and wellness business for many years, and this are just few tips that I would recommend. Good luck! :)

  7. Hello.. I am a mother of three and my current weight is 163 lb. I have just purchased Garcinia Cambogia from a website called naturalgarciniacambogia.net but I am very confused about the right dosage.
    The problem is that it does not say how many mg in the bottle.. the website says 1000 mg. But under the label it says Garcinia Viv blend is 600 mg.. now with the other ingredients on it (Calcium, Chromiun and Potassium plus other ingredients) it might reach the 1000 mg. Now the question is how much is the right dosage for me considering my life as a busy stay at home mom..a few bike rides a week but no gym..just keeping busy with my 3 little children.

    Right now I started with 2 capsules a day..(according to the bottle suggested use).. But I have no idea when do I need to take them.. before meals?..after meals?. it doesn’t says!!.. THANKS for your HELP!!!

    I am 22 years old and weigh 154lbs. I have been taking the Garcinia Combogia pill twice daily, 1 before breakfast and 1 before lunch.
    I exercise regularly and have made small changes to my diet.
    I’m 3 weeks in and have not lost any weight.
    Can someone please tell me why? Am I taking the correct dosage?

Hi Carmen – I looked at the site and clicked on the link at the bottom so see the label – and I think you should return that product and find something else that has no fillers or extra ingredients besides the Garcinia Cambogia and perhaps Potassium (I heard Calcium may be okay, too – though I’ve heard it fights absorption). There should be nothing else in there. Just my opinion.

  11. What is more important? taking it on an empty stomach or before hi-carb meals?
    For empty stomach I can take it first thing in the morning, but the food that I eat for a few hours after that is quite lo-carb. So what would be the point?
    My real downfall is -late suppertime and evening snacking. So I assume that I need the two doses before and after supper?
    Are we supposed to keep our blood stream with a high dose of garcinia throughout the day no matter what we eat? or more at hi-carb times?
    Also, hats off to you if you know exactly when you will be eating your next meal; I dont really think about it. So how can we plan the dose exactly 30 minutes before? What if I estimate and take a dose, and then end up eating 2 hours after the dose? has it worn off, hence a need to take another pill with the meal?

  12. Debbie you also need to eat more small meals each day. Eating 1 meal a day puts your body into starvation mode and makes you store fat! Eat up…please! Eating more small meals keeps your metabolism burning.

    I’ve been been taking 4 pills a day each 500mg. I take 2 at breakfast and 2 at dinner. I’ve noticed how much smaller my stomach appears. I weighed in at 190lbs I am not 182. I don’t see the difference in weight loss but I feek great. I haven’t changed much with my diet besides drinking ONLY water and eating smaller proportions. I think this product wrks great can’t wait till after the month is up to see my results

    I bought my pills from GNC and at the back of the bottle it is written
    Each capsule contains Garcinua Cambogia Fruit Extarct 500mg
    Other ingredients: cellulose, stearic acid, vegetable cellulose capsule, silicon dioxide
    Are these the right ingredients?? The product is simply called garcinia cambogia but the packaging looks different than the picture from this website it is just a GNC packaging.
    Please. Reply to me ASAP
    Also it’s my first week I dunno why but I kind of have gained a kilo is this normal?? What can I do to get maximum results I’m not overweight I’m 58kg even tho I’m 59 now but I jus need to reach 54kgs

    • Sara, well, what our favorite doctor said was to find the one with no additional ingredients. That being said, what you mentioned here doesn’t sound alarming these are all supposedly safe ingredients.

      I always recommend the one without anything else just the garcinia + veggie capsule.

    i started GC a week ago, two capsules a day. i have observed no weight loss but good energy and less appetite besides some what constipation and more urination. i feel too thirsty and drink a lot of water. are these all associated with the use of GC? when I will start loosing weight?

Hi, I bought some GC on Amazon a few months ago, I am 30, 5’4, weighing 155, I would like to get down to about 135 but seem to be stuck at a plataue, I bought GC hoping it would help get me unstuck. I have 3 small children, I run 3-4 miles about 3-4 times a week or sometimes run twice and do weights or some other activity. We eat organic, clean and healthy balanced meals. My question is that my product has a Satiety dosage of 1 capsule 3 times a day….seeing as I am relatively active this is what i have been taking with no results. There is a weight-loss dosage of 3 capsules 3 times a day but that seems a bit much? Could you please tell me how much I should be taking? The pills I have are 500 mg capsules with no extra fillers.

    I bought GC online of Nutrigold brand. It says 1 cap contains 500 mg and recommended dosage is 1500 to 3000 mg per day but not more than that.
    I started taking it from 1st oct, 2 caps before 1 hr of meal 3 times a day. I have not made any changes to my diet and I do not work out.
    I do not see any change in my weight. It has been almost 45 days now.

    I am wondering is there anything that I am doing wrong…Dosage wise? Please advise. I will, however, continue with the remaining 45 days of capsules left.

      no I wouldn’t recommend it. Garcinia cambogia is not supposed to be used by young mothers who still breastfeed their child. Hope this helps.
