Because one can really never be sure if a dietary supplement such as Garcinia Cambogia will actually work, we conducted a search to find what most people say. We have checked several hundred buyer comments and also have found some recommendations from doctors. Without any particular order what follows are both pros and cons of taking Garcinia Cambogia.
Chelsie from DC said this on Amazon’s review site:
Half the battle for me is appetite control. … I’ve lost about 3-4 lbs, but I haven’t really been trying or dieting. … My usual very (make that extremely) hearty appetite all but disappears. No joke. … I’ve gotten to the point where I can throw/push food away because I’M NOT HUNGRY! And when I do feel hunger, I just don’t want to eat as much. … In the evenings, after dinner, I usually snack for lack of something else to do, now I’m not interested as much in eating-an odd, but much appreciated feeling!
Our view on this: this is a real example on how you can get a benefit even without following a strict dietary plan. Imagine how this benefits could be actually boosted by knowing how to eat healthier (you get this in an e-book as a bonus when purchasing), possibly having support from people struggling with the same problem (you get a free membership to exclusive Garcinia Cambogia Weight-Loss forum as a bonus when purchasing) and maybe some exercise and following a nutrition plan laid out for you! The difference could be amazing!
Rosemary from Kansas said that her:
bowel movements were changed by taking garcinia supplement, …
… so she is afraid to continue the intake.
Another buyer said she didn’t feel any change in her appetite, at all. Not even after two weeks.
Our view on this: This is always a possibility. We have been writing about the fact that different people may react differently, and this is why consulting your doctor is important. If you experience any change in your metabolism while on any kind of diet, you should ask yourself if it is the right supplement for you. It might be due to your other nutrition habits, or just that your body reacts differently. Try stopping for couple of days, or change the dosage. Do NOT exceed the recommended or allowed number of pills as you will do more harm than good with it.

I’ve tried other supplements that controlled hunger just wonderfully, but made me jittery and often nauseous. That’s not acceptable, at least not for me. (Of course, being nauseous offers a whole different kind of hunger control, lol.) Garcinia Cambogia does not control hunger cravings as well as the jitter-inducers do, but it does offer control WHEN TAKEN PROPERLY. I have experienced no side effects taking this.
Our view on this: Exactly to the point. Take this part of your life seriously, do whatever it takes do follow the recommendations from the manufacturer and you shall be fine.
Several users have had problems with one thing: remembering to take the pill before their meals. We get that. Todays rush world makes us forget a lot of stuff, and work related stress is creating more eating disorders than it helps us live normal lives.
Here’s a short tip: You probably own a smartphone of a similar device, so just put it on a weekly reminder, to say, beep once at 7.30 before breakfast, then at 11.30 just in time to make lunch around noon, and then at 18.00 or before, depends on your preferable time for dinner. Put the alarm/reminder to be repeated 7 days a week, and before you know it, you will actually develop a habit of taking the pill at the good time. Once you start not forgetting about it, just turn the reminder off.
Also, one of the common side effects is people saying they are getting more tired, actually sleepy from the pill. Our view is this: if you really think about it, this is normal. You have been taking several thousand calories a day, probably a lot of “instant” calories such as sugar-based carbohydrates which is now taken out of the equation by the food supplement. Your body will need some time to adapt to the lower energy levels and during this time, its natural reaction is to give you the feeling of being tired or sleepy – it is just saying, it needs more rest
A quick tip on sleepiness: check with Your doctor, physician or nutritionist about taking vitamins in addition. Vitamins are great for raising energy levels in your body and will they help you through the day. Actually, vitamins are so important that you should consider taking them regardless of your current nutrition or dietary plans.
As for the professional recommendations, You have probably known this already, but Garcinia was also featured on Dr Oz. He claimed that it is the fastest most reliable way of loosing weight. I know a lot of people don’t like the hype of Dr. Oz, but there is not much reason why we should not give it a try.
